This tour discovering the old town of Turin starts from Piazza Castello, the heart of the city, dominated by Palazzo Madama. You admire its Baroque façade  projected by Filippo Juvarra in the Eighteenth century. Later entrance to the church of Saint Lorenzo, the first work by Guarino Guarini in Turin together with the Holy Shroud Chapel placed between Palazzo Reale and the Cathedral. A stop in Piazzetta Reale, where Palazzo Reale rises up, the official residence of Savoy dynasty until 1865. You go on with the Cathedral of Saint Giovanni, the unique exemplar of religious building from Reinassance in the city. the Roman theatre and the famous Porta Palatina. After, you walk again toward Piazza Castello and reach the colonnades of Via Roma, among luxurious shops. The tour ends in Piazza San Carlo, the living room of the town, with the famous “twin churches” dedicated to Saint Carlo and Saint Cristina. It is possible to continue the tour including the suggestive Piazza Carignano, with the Theatre and Palazzo Carignano; crossing its courtyard you arrive in Piazza Carlo Alberto. Going along Via Principe Amedeo and turning in Via San Massimo, you cross Via Po to reach Mole Antonelliana, the undisputed symbol of Turin.
