Full Day Formula for an unforgettable One Week Experience
With this itinerary you will have a unique experience discovering the Infernot, the cellars dug by hand in the raw earth under the oldest houses and farmhouses located in Monferrato Casalese area. In Cella Monte, a village of great charm, you will visit the Museum of Pietra da Cantoni and its Infernot. The buildings of the village show paintings created by Giovanni Colonna; they guide you to the small romanesque church of S. Quirico. Entrance to a winery and its infernot, with tasting of wines and local products. The second stop on the tour is the Sannazzaro Castle in Giarole town, one of the oldest fortresses in Monferrato, partly transformed into a noble residence and owned by the same family for nine centuries.
