A half day dedicated to the writer who loved Langhe Hills and made them eternal by his books. The hills of Cesare Pavese are the land of great landscapes, precious truffles and famous wines: among them, “Asti Spumante” wine, the valued White Sparkling Wine of this region, is the most important one. A tour discovering the places of Cesare Pavese, trough the town of Santo Stefano Belbo, where the writer was born and wanted to place his last work, called “The Moon and Bonfires”, published in 1950. The itinerary includes the Foundation dedicated to Cesare Pavese, the focal point for researchers and people keen about his works, where a small Museum shows books and objects of the writer; Cesare Pavese’s Birth House which preserves photos, books, manuscripts, and the room where the writer was born; the House-Workshop of Nuto, the fraternal friend of Pavese and important figure in his last romance, who was an able carpenter and clarinet player.
Rate for a group of minimum 10 people: 12,00 euros per person. Rate for a family: 69,00 euros per person. Rate includes: half day guided tour.
