A tour to discover the beauty and the pomp of the places that the Savoy wanted to mark with their symbols of richness and power from the town to countryside residences, from churches to monumental graves.

The tour starts from Turin, in Piazza Castello, the heart of the city, dominated by Palazzo Madama, with its double façade, medieval on one side and baroque on the other side, and the beautiful Palazzo Reale, the official residence of Savoy dynasty until 1865. Later entrance to the church of Saint Lorenzo, the first work by Guarini, near to the famous Holy Shroud Chapel and the Cathedral of Saint Giovanni, in a Renaissance style. Passing the remains of the Roman theatre and the Porta Palatina, You will arrive in Via Roma, among luxurious shops and coffee-bars. The tour ends in Piazza San Carlo, the real living room of Turin, with the famous “twin churches” dedicated to Saints Carlo and Cristina. Lunch at restaurant/Italian trattoria in the centre based on typical local foods. In the afternoon transfer to the Realm of Venaria Reale, that thanks to its 110.000 square meters of surface establishes itself as one of the most important expressions of Baroque style internationally. The itinerary inside will touch the Hall of Diana, the Great Gallery and the Chapel of Saint Umberto, while externally You will be surprised by the Royal Gardens, with the suggestive Tank, Seventeenth-century caverns, remains of the Fountain of Ercole and Diana Temple and the original Fluid Sculptures by Giuseppe Penone.

After breakfast, visit to the Egyptian Museum considered, for variety and value of findings, the most important in the world after the Museum in the city of Cairo. This Museum is made up of different collections, starting from the first one created by Bernardino Drovetti, a consul of Egypt, which was bought by King Carlo Felice of Savoy in 1824 up to findings discovered in the Twentieth century. Among the various findings You will see mummies, many exemplars of papyrus, sculptures and ornaments, free time for shopping. Lunch at restaurant/Italian trattoria in the centre based on typical local foods.
